Middle School Philosophy

The faculty of Central Middle School is committed to implementing a school philosophy that recognizes that children between the ages of 10 and 14 are unique in intellectual, social, emotional and physical growth. Through a caring and secure environment, our middle school program ensures that all students experience challenge and success. We set high standards, both academically and socially, and, through the norms in our Full Value Contract, we encourage our students to recognize their mistakes, to advocate for themselves, and to be productive members of our school community. Our goals include:
